Hockey Masks is a sculptural project that seeks a moment of cultural overlap through the creation of hand-carved and painted wooden masks. The series consists of vintage-like National Hockey League goalie masks of the original six and the 1967 expansion six teams, each inspired by the masks of traditional Japanese theatre.
