About

Lubo Brezina is a wood architect living and working in the downtown core of Toronto. Since completing a Bachelors degree in Architecture at the University of Toronto in 1996, Lubo has been exploring built work at varying scales, particularly in wood. He enjoys taking on projects that encourage interaction between people and raw or rural materials in an urban setting. His design philosophy is to convey a sense of structure, detail in joinery, an essence of material, and a simple aesthetic that deals with proportion and mass. Lubo’s work conveys a sensitivity to wood, its history and applications.
