Masks

One day I had an idea about how to show my kids that their mixed cultural heritage is part of the Canadian identity. I made a series of hand-carved wooden masks depicting historical and contemporary Canadian personalities with mixed cultural backgrounds. These masks celebrate the mixing of cultures and Canadian multiculturalism.
